Terms of Service

By booking with K. Creighton Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are in place to ensure clarity, professionalism, and a smooth experience for all parties.

1. Booking & Retainers

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session unless otherwise stated in writing. No session is officially booked until the retainer is received.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Clients may reschedule one time with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of the session will result in forfeiture of the retainer.
In the event of photographer illness, emergency, or unsafe weather conditions, sessions will be rescheduled or refunded at the photographer’s discretion.

3. Session Details

Sessions are planned for the agreed-upon duration. Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time and are not eligible for refunds or extensions. Additional time may be added at the photographer’s discretion and may incur additional fees.

4. Image Delivery

Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within the timeframe specified in your package.
Image counts are approximate and not guaranteed. Final selections are at the photographer’s discretion.
Unedited RAW images are not provided under any circumstance.

5. Artistic Style

By booking, you acknowledge familiarity with K. Creighton Photography’s style and editing approach. Editing style, composition, and creative direction are subjective and consistent with the photographer’s portfolio.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

Ensuring all participants are prepared and cooperative
Securing permissions for locations, venues, or events
Informing the photographer of any special requests prior to the session

K. Creighton Photography is not responsible for missed images due to uncooperative subjects, late arrivals, or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Usage & Copyright

K. Creighton Photography retains full copyright of all images. Clients are granted a personal use license to print and share images for non-commercial purposes. Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

The photographer reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

K. Creighton Photography is not liable for circumstances beyond control including weather, venue restrictions, equipment failure, or acts of God. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.

9. Payments & Pricing

All prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing is locked once a booking is confirmed. Additional services or products requested after booking may incur additional fees.

10. Acceptance of Terms

Booking a session, submitting a retainer, or signing a contract indicates acceptance of these Terms of Service.
